According to Alburquerquue Mayor Efren D Tungol, students, teachers and parents supervised by the principal Ms. Anastacia Manongas from ACES wrote letters to Synergeia Foundation  saying “My school needs computers and be connected to the internet…” in order to join the contest.  It was selected as one of 12 finalists among several hundreds availing of the Synergeia Foundation technical and financial assistance.

P&G e.Studyante’s long-term vision is to help the Filipino child’s education by providing connectivity and one laptop to each grade school student in the Philippines. e.Studyante recognizes that a lot of students endure a treacherous journey before they reach their respective schools and unfortunately when they reach school, the materials to help them learn are not enough. The laptop connects the students to the world, providing access to the internet, thus making learning more interesting and enriching. From October-December 2011, by buying P&G promo packs, people will be able to help provide each child with a laptop.
