Albur reaps another priestly hand, priestly voice

On January 9, 2012 his excellency, Bishop Leonardo Y. Medroso of the Diocese of Tagbilaran ordained three (3) new priests at the St. Joseph Cathedral, namely Rev. Fr. Remegio Polinar (G-Hernandez, Bohol), Rev. Fr. Proceso Omamalin (San Fernando, Cebu) , and Rev. Fr. Craig Jubac.

The pride of Alburquerque, Fr. Craig, son of Ignacio Daral Jubac (deceased) and Cresencia Ayag Ayop is the 5th child of 6. His siblings are Flaviano, Paul, Anthony, Emiliano, and Stella.

Born on March 30, 1978, he finished his elementary education at the Alburquerque Central Elementary School or ACES and High School at the San Roque High School.  He went to college at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary (IHMS) in Taloto, Tagbilaran City and graduated in AB Philosophy. He finished his Theological Studies at the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Cagayan de Oro City.  He was ordained deacon on June 27, 2011.  Last Monday, January 9, 2012, he was ordained Priest.

His first mass, also known as “canta misa” or thanksgiving mass was on January 10, 2012 at the Santa Monica Parish in Alburquerque, Bohol.  This was followed by an elaborate reception composed of a lechon festival, programme, firewords and live band, organized by the Sta.
