TOP MEDIA MAN BURIED. The Sunday Post’s Editor-Publisher and dyRD’s “Inyong Alagad” co-anchor Ciriaco “Boy” Guingguing’s remains were buried in his native town of Baclayon yesterday noon. BG or Bigilante also spent several years working in the Bohol Chronicle where he was once an Associate Editor. Among those who spoke at the necrological rites and Mass at the Baclayon church makeshift structure was Gov Edgar Chatto who lauded BG for his “sue generis” journalistic talent and whose “opinion  at times influenced public policies.”

SANDUGO MARDI GRAS-  The weeks-long festivity of the Sandugo Festival ends in a fitting climax this afternoon with pomp, revelry and gaiety  in an explosion of colors, music and dance along the city streets. Handsome prizes await the winners.This year’s success is attributable mainly to the tight cooperation between the provincial and city governments which was absent in for many years in the past city administration.
