Binay camp text brigade on for ‘2016’

Text messages promoting Vice President Jejomar Binay’s political profile have been sent to almost every Filipino whose cellular phone has been made known through an information arm of government agencies.
The text brigade uses different globe numbers in disseminating “praise releases” for the vice president.
As reaction, media practitioners who had been flooded with such text messages everyday wonder if the expenses for the text brigade are not charged to public funds because it is obvious that promoting the virtues of the vice-president is a personal matter.
Among the text messages were “We pray that GMA’s Strong Republic will be realized under Binay’s Strong Leadership. Time to unite. Patawarin ang nagsisisi! Binay sa 2016!” sent from cellphone no. 09167492057 on Saturday morning.
Last Friday, the same cellphone no. sent another message, “Paalala mula sa tanggapan ni VP Binay: Magpaka-Boy Scout ngayong Holy Week–huwag aanga-anga sa daan para hindi manakawan.”
Also last Friday, cellphone no. 09176009147 sent the message, “JEsus, JOseph & MARy may be gone, but salvation lies in our beloved JEJOMAR. GO VP Binay! Pls pass”.
Last Thursday, cellphone no 09179650840 sent the message, “Let’s pray 4 unity this Holy Week. VP Binay will unite all factions vs the vindictive Yellow Army! Google Manila Times+Binay senate slate”.
Also on Thursyday, cellphone no. 09176009126 sent the message, “Lord, nawa’y matapos na ang hidwaang pampolitika sa Pinas. Gabayan Nyo po si VP Binay at ang kanyang pagpupunyagi tungo sa pagkakaisa. Amen”.
Some Boholano media practitioners started receiving text messages promoting Binay’s virtues after his visit to Bohol last month.
